Our Weekend Away!!

Well, the hubby and I dropped the kids off last night with his parents to enjoy a weekend alone. It started to look disastrous from the get go. His parents had made other plans for the evening–Why?? I have no idea. The uncle that would be watching them wasn’t even home, so it looked as though we would be scrapping our plans and just going home. But it all worked out, and we headed out the door. First I took him by the house I really think we should buy. Then we headed to the hotel–just up the street from the in laws, took the tour of the resort–my husband worked at this resort nearly 20 years ago, so it was fun for him to get to see everything. Then we headed to the Sedona Grille for dinner. It was yummy!! When it was over we were presented with a yummy dessert plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate with a slice of chocolate fudge cake, chocolate covered strawberries and sliced strawberries and blueberries. It was soooooo good!
