Last night at 10:10 pm, my 7 year old son and I saw Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix. There are so many memories tied up in this book–that I was amazed to finally be sitting in the movie. When we moved to Chicago from Phoenix, I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter, who was born December 2002. In April of 2003 I was homesick for Phoenix and wanted my Aunt and Uncle there to be able to see my beautiful little girl–so the four of us headed back to Phoenix. While we were there–we watched our first Harry Potter movie–Chamber of Secrets. While we were waiting at the airport my Aunt pulled out the book that she was reading–the new Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix. She mentioned some things going on in it–things I’d never heard of–because I had no interest in Harry Potter. Now here we are–I have a 4 1/2 year old daughter–I’ve read every book multiple times–own ever Harry Potter DVD–own every Harry Potter game for the PS2–and yes, I already own number 5 for the PS2, and I still haven’t played number 4 yet!! When Grayson was 4 he was Harry Potter for Halloween–and he was awesome! Next week we will be attending the midnight release party of Harry Potter #7–and I can promise–I won’t be blogging for 2 days while I read the entire book! I guess you could say that we are addicted!!
As far as favorites…The Chamber of Secrets is my favorite movie and The Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite book. And as usual–I like the books better than the movies!
