Moms Are So Smart!!

When it comes to medical problems occurring within their families! First with Jake and his shorter leg, leading to his diagnosis of Scoliosis. His case was luckily caught amazingly early, and we have been very fortunate to start some treatments that have literally taken away all of his pain. No, his spin isn’t straight yet, and yes, one leg is still shorter than the other one–but he went from being in pain everyday to pain free-and that is just amazing to me.

This week, the patient was my husband. The diagnosis–an Umbilical Hernia! Yeah, he totally poo pooed my idea of it being a hernia–but after a quick doctors visit this afternoon–I have been vindicated! It isn’t very big or very bad–but we do need to watch it and make sure it doesn’t get any worse. But I just thought I would take a moment and “Rock On With My Bad Self”!!
