I went to Toys R Us yesterday. I needed to put my two youngest kids in the ride on cars to see if they were too big for them. You see, Toys R Us has the smaller version on sale for $99 down from $150. That is an amazing savings–when you consider–I may have to buy two of them. Barrett is getting one because of his attachment to the golf cart on our ‘camping’ trip.

That’s his little head in the passengers seat. He LIVED on that thing-and I decided that since we were moving to a new house with a big yard and a big unfinished basement–he would be getting one for his birthday. It is October 26, but since he will only be three–we are going to get it now–wrap it up and sing Happy Birthday to him today or tomorrow. Then on his real birthday we will do the cake and sibling gifts–and then a couple of days later–the big bash birthday party.
But I need the car for my own sanity. Something that will consume his energy. I’m thinking the boy will probably sleep on the thing–and be very angry when I have to get him off of it. But I would rather put up with that, than chasing him around the house cleaning up his messes.
Oh–and I should let you know, the little car is too small for Blakelynn–but a perfect fit for Barrett!
