Awards Assembly!!

Today I sent the boys off to school at 7:40 am. One son knowing I would be seeing him in an hour, one son clueless. Today there was an awards assembly at the boys elementary school, and Grayson was getting an award. He was nominated for the “Student of the Month” and he won. Not that I had any doubt he would–had I known there was an award for this.

As I sat in the assembly, I watched all of the kids–Grayson should win this award hands down every month! Well, Jake too–but truly–this was the noisiest group of kids I’d seen. Even when the principal was speaking–they were all yacking away with each other–it was terrible! So not how I’m raising my kids to be!

Next month’s award is for Respect! I’m fully expecting one of my boys to walk away with it as well!
